Music Mondays: Festival Season is Never Ending

Happy Monday everyone! Just want to say that this past weekend, the EC Twins rocked it at Vessel! They packed the house and put on an amazing set! Can't wait to have them back in San Francisco again. Also, I am still in shock that after my decision to skip the Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso show at Ruby Skye, they  cancelled last minute due to flight complications. I sympathize for all who went to the show or were planning on it! What a bummer!  Good news is for all who bought tickets, their money is being refunded and also the show is apparently set to be rescheduled! That means they have a lot of making up to do!

And now on to music Mondays....

So everyone, what do you like better? Christmas or Festival Season?
The answer should be...Festival Season duh. (Hope you have all seen one of the best movies ever Wedding Crashers to get my reference here :)

Anyways, while there really isn't any particular hot season for music festivals, as they are constantly popping up everywhere all the time, here is a list of ones you should mark on your calendars to check out in the upcoming year!

1. Snowglobe Music Festival - December 29-31, 2011 Lake Tahoe
http://snowglobemusicfestival.com/

This festival is happening this NYE in South Lake Tahoe and is a three day snow fest with headliners Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Thievery Corporation and Glitch Mob. This should be a fun weekend up in the mountains so put on your snow gear and buy your tickets now!

2. BPM Music Festival - December 29- January 8, 2012 - Playa Del Carmen

I have never attended this festival, but what sounds bad about about being in Mexico, on the beach for NYE with amazing music and gorgeous people! This is a week long festival in Playa Del Carmen and looks absolutely incredible!

3.  Tomorrowland - July 27-29, 2012  Belgium
This festival is at the top of my list for next year! It is in Belgium in July next year and from this video really does seem like a fantasy world. To quote from the website the theme ...
Yesterday is History, Today is a Gift, Tomorrow is Mystery..

4. Ultra Music Festival - March 23-26, 2012 Miami FL
Ultra Music Festival in Miami is an amazing electronic music festival. I went a couple of years ago and it was so much fun! You can hop between the festival, amazing South Beach nightclubs, and yacht parties with people who all love house music! Miami is a sexy place and there definitely will be some major headliners in 2012!

5. Coachella - April 13-15 & April 20-22, 2012 - Indio California
This is the best music festival of all time! I had the most amazing experience last year and was so sad when it ended! It inlcudes all genres of music including house, hip hop, rock, pop, just to name a few! Headliners from the past couple of years include DeadMau5, Tiesto, Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Empire of the Sun, and more! Due to the popularity of this event, Coachella is putting on two back to back weekends so that more people can enjoy and have the opportunity to experience this musical heaven as it sold out last year and there were so many people unable to go! I absolutely can't wait for this!

Every year, a blog about Girls of Coachella is released and look who made the cut this year... my friend Karrie, Emily and I. Thanks to the shoulders who helped us out!!!! Check the link out below.... there are shots of Paris Hilton, Rihanna,  Kelly Osborne, Kirsten Dunst and my friend Emily!!! Looks like we are rolling with the big dogs :)
